A Second TX City Says No to Convicted Sex Offender Drag Queens Reading to Kids

More parents are speaking out against drag queens reading to little children, most recently in a second Texas city.  Nicole Hudgens with Texas Values reports that the City of Leander has cancelled a “Drag Queen Story Time” after public outcry.  She suggests the complaints may have poured in after neighboring city Houston unknowingly welcomed convicted sex offenders to its drag queen event in March.  Previously, two sex offenders were allowed to participate at the Houston Public Library, and their criminal past was uncovered after the event and only after conservative group MassResistance began digging into their records.  Read more: https://onenewsnow.com/culture/2019/06/04/a-second-tx-city-says-no-to-drag-queens-reading-to-kids
